Compressor - airbrush question

Ok, I used the search function, didn't find anything that would answer my question.

The problem is, lets say I buy a revell compressor and a Iwata Revolution airbrush, how big of a problem will it be to get the air from the compressor to the airbrush.

I am fairly sure that the hose diameters are different with iwata/revell. Currently I'm using the Revell "standard" class airbrush, and to be honest, its crap so I need to move up a notch

I hope I made myself as clear as I possibly could

Re: Compressor - airbrush question

I'm not sure of the revel measurements but Tamiya/Iwata both use an 1/8 inch hose.
If you can find a place that sells air compressors (industrial type(hobby stores may not have the 'connections')), then they should be able to get you fixed up. Just bring the hose and your AB with you to show them if you're not sure of the measurements. Shouldn't cost much 2 or 3 dollars is what I paid for a 1/2 x 1/8 inch adapter.

If you don't have a hose, preferabley find one that fits your AB rather then your compressor. This way you won't have to hold the weight of the adaptor along with the AB.

HTH,
Steve
