Science Fair Project :(

i have to do a stupid science fair project this year. does anybody have a good idea for one or one you've already done before. i would prefer something involved with cars, engineering, and physics. i've thought of a couple ideas, but i just want to find some more ideas. thanks

Use something with wind tunnels, and areodynamics on cars. I did something similar in 8th grade with 3 models, a plane, helicopter, and a car. I actually got 4th place in the school. and all i did was throw some models in a little wind tunnel thing and let the computer do the work.

How old are you? I thought you were 16? Or are you 15? Oh well, I'm in Grade 11 and my question would be, Is your Science broken up yet or is it general still? Make something that is really complex but make sure it's something you know about. I know there a 1/4 or 1/8 Scale V-8 Engine Kit out there so you could get that, Build it and Explain all of the Systems included in an engine.

i'm 15 and my science is broken up. that would be real fun to build an engine, but i dont know if my science fair projects are different than all of you guys. i have to have a problem, a hypothesis, predict which will perform better, procedure on how i did my expirement, and crap like that. i would love to build an engine, but i wouldnt be able to have a problem, hypothesis, etc.... like i said before, i HATE these!!!

Damnit! I hate those problems.

:flamer: Problem :rocket:

What if you altered some components on the engine to get a different outcome, that myabe would work. Here's my poor suggestion, I did this two weeks ago on my summer,

1. Get some Lego Technic Pieces.
2. Build a Long Lego Chaissis with big wheels
3. Insert "B" Class Rocket Motor in rear of car.
4. Using PROPER ignition system ignite and then you get your experiment.

I say PROPER because I used a String soaked in Gas, but it evapourated by the time I was setup so I had a small bonfire at the back of the car and it still did light, so I now have a half-burnt Lego car and a Black rocket. It would still go as soon as I get some Electrical Charges. It's kindof a "I don't really have anything to do" Answer. Good lUck, I'll keep posting my thoughts.
