1994 t-bird?

My 1994 t-bird lx 4.6l gradualy quit running it started out when the car was cold it had no exceleration..sounded kind of muffled? but after a couple of seconds it would take off and be ok ...but the last time I drove it I couldn't go over 5 miles an hour? when I got it home it stalled and now I havent been able to start it since!! I have spark, Fuel all the way up to the check valve. It just turns over and at times it try's to start but dosen't!! I changed the plugs..no luck..Does anybody have any suggestions?? I have been told it could be the on board computer?? Thanks.
