awesome weekend

so it's reading week (pretty much just like spring break but there's snow outside) and some friends from high school (we were 8 all together) and I decided to go to montreal for a weekend. in canada the drinking age is a provincial thing so it's 19 where i live but it's 18 in the neighboring province, montreal is in quebec where the drinking age is 18. anyways we got a nice cheap hotel (it was $90 for two nights per person) and pretty much just went out on the town and drank. it was great to just hang out with a bunch of people that i hadn't seen in a while and get completely wasted with them. there are a bunch of stories from those two days but i don't feel like typing it all up, all i've got to say is that Irish car bombs are my new fav drink.

anyone got special plans for spring break or anything similar?

Re: awesome weekend

yeah we did some jager bombs before the car bombs, the jager bombs were a little fruity though, they were good and fun but i like the car bombs because they taste good and have a bit of a rougher feel to them. you just want to get into a fright after a few of those...

Re: awesome weekend

One too many irish car bombs and you end up on brokeback mountain when you confuse the fighting with getting laid.

Re: awesome weekend

Good times.

Didn't do jack over the weekend. Friday I left work early, felt sick. Nothing that night. Saturday helped my friend move into his house at 9am. Didn't get home till midnight. Sunday just some minor grocery shopping. Had today off, just put together my bedroom furniture. Still not done with it.

Next weekend is where it's at. BBQ Cook-Off for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Hell yea!

Re: awesome weekend

My weekend sucked, three days of loafing around doing jack-shit is totaly overrated.

Sounds like you had a great time. Given a laptop and last weekend went to coast to get wasted and fish.

This weekend my wife and I bought a house. I'm freaking excited and can't wait to end this hour commute to work everyday. We also went out with some friends to this rediculously expensive fondue restaurant. I'm too cheap for more of those kind of outings. If I was dressed up nicer it would've felt like American Psycho or Glamorama... "I'm not going anywhere until we have a reservation"... we had one for 10:30pm... haha...
