Help - Hinges
I need some ideas on scratch built hinges. Im working on a VW GTI and Ive cut the rear hatch out, but Im stumped on how to hinge it. There isnt much room to work with. I tried to form my own crude hinge out of a paperclip, but it broke during bending.
Please help with possible hinge ideas. Heck, this might be worth adding to the FAQ if there is a good variety. Ill try to post a few picks to show what Im working with. Thanks in advance.

On my Celica project, I used a very similar method, but instead of the long bar across the center, I had the hinges stick out toward the outside of the car into little receivers. That doesn't sound at all sensible, so I'll link you to where you can see it:
