My car had been sitting for two days. Not plugged in as it was only about minus ten degrees celcious or so. I started my car cold and was gently pressing on the gas trying to get it to warm a little before I left. I left and came back to find yellow drip marks in the snow from where I was parked. Which were actually in the shape of a big "P". It definetly looks like gas but didn't smell like it. Ive been told its possible it is a leaky fuel line. What runs down the center of your car that is shaped like a P? I don't know what to even have checked so that I won't get charged a crazy amount. My car only has 67000 km's on it, so I wouldn't think I should have many problems with it yet. It is 5 years old though. Somebody please help!

Re: 02 Grand Am Leaking Fuel?? HELP!
from the color it sounds like Dexcool engine coolant. Check around the lower intake manifold and the heater hoses. If it turns out to be fuel though check the fitting where the fuel line goes into the "fuel rails". Not really fuel rails but for the lack of a better description, the lines that the injectors are attachd to. I've seen the O ring fail there.

Re: 02 Grand Am Leaking Fuel?? HELP!
Does sound like Dexcool leaking from somewhere.
It would be sticky on your fingers if you toughed it and smell sweet. If it was gas, it would be more likly to leak from the back of the car where the fuel filter is rather then up front. Unless the fuel system has been worked on latly, under the hood. btw whats your engine size? and Welcome to AF.
