Tire Problems with XA?

We have an '06 Xa with 4200 miles on it. The tires on it as it came from the dealer are Goodyear Eagle LS 185/60/R15.

We have had two tires "blow out" already. The failures look like they were realted to the side walls, as in both instances, there were no punctures thru the tread area. The tread area did not separate, it was perfectly intact.

Just driving along, and POP!.

Just wondering if anybody has heard if this is a common problem, like defective tires or what.

THanks,
Neil

Re: Tire Problems with XA?

I strongly recommend lowering some of the tire pressure. I droped mine down to 26/25psi and have had no problem with my xA. Ofcourse I only have 780 miles on my '06 xA.
