Exclamation 88 Cav Engine Swap Info Needed

I've (obviously) got a nice ol' car, and I think it's on its last legs. I'm looking to do an engine swap some time in the near future, and I need information on what engines will fit. Model info is as follows (as much as I know anyway)

2.0 L
4 cyl
automatic transmission
1988

I'm mainly looking to put a v-tec engine in, but if anyone has any information regarding what I can swap in, I'd be very thankful.

I would just look around the junk yards for an old turbo sunbird 2.0l and rebuild it. I think stock they are around 165 hp with 175 lb-ft of torque. build your motor(and possibly the tranny if you want it to last very long) with good internals, turn up the boost a little bit, and upgrade your suspension and you should be running low 14's easy.:smoka:
