Exclamation rust problem

ive got rust all over the floor in my third gen and was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what did they do i got a hole where the drivers feet go and a hole under the passenger seat and in the very back two corners i got smaller holes. what do i do for the rust mainly in the back because all the other stuff can just be cut out and patched in i dont think i could just get a new body part like the fender because it looks like one piece.any help appreciated.

Re: rust problem

Get it on a lift and check the under side of the car to see where else rust might be hiding. When unibodies start rusting out if its not caught quickly enough its pretty much over for the car.

Re: rust problem

That's the way both my f-bodies have now left me. On 3rd gens, it starts in the winshield A-pillar, water leaks in, runs down the pillar, eventually putting a hole in the pillar and then collecting water underneath the driver's seat, it's all over from there. There are replacemetn floorboards, but rust is continually refered to as cancer to metal, onece you have it, it's a pain to get rid of.

all well and good for storage, the problem with the A-pilar develops while dirivng and rainwater collects in the window channel of the pilar.
