97' blazer w/4.3 will not turn over to start!

the ignition has been changed,the starter has been changed. the battery has been fully charged. only thing we hear is a click thats it. however sometimes it will start, when it wants to.what else can we check to correct this problem?

If the starter solenoid "clicks" when you attempt to start, but the starter does not run, the problem is likely either with the solenoid contacts or the main power connections to the starter (excluding the ground, since the solenoid uses the same ground).

It doesn't start "when it wants to" since it has no will, conscious, nor mind of it's own. It will start when all the conditions to permit starting are present. If there is an intermittent problem, it isn't due to the metal ions generating thought.

have you checked the alternator yet? one of my cars i used to have had an alternator go and it just clicked when i tried to start it.

I think im having the same issue. Went out 2 start 2 day and i can turn the key all the way forward. But it doesnt even try to start. I just hear a click in the dash right around the area where the stereo 4x4 and vents are. Is this an ignition issue??
