transmission swaps
if im not mistaken, 95-99 420a's are for the most part compatible.
so can i take a manual nonturbo tranny out of a neon/sebring/stratus and put it in a eclipse. because i need a 420a tranny and im hoping i have more options that just eclipse/talon. cause they are super hard to find.. even on ebay. thanks

I don't believe that the tranny's from those cars will swap over. Even though the engine has the same platform, I'm sure they're different trannys. The only ones that I KNOW will fit are the 420a Eclipse & Talon trannys, and the Dodge Avenger with the 420a, the identical motor from the Eclipse/Talon. I believe the year of the avengers is like 95-98 or 99.

Yeah, the Neon tranny will NOT work. It's close, but it's not the same. Already looked into this.
