Instrument Panel Lights

Hey people. My cousin has a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport and his instrument panel lights aren't working. When he was leaving work the other night, he turned on the headlights and nothing. The only lights that came on were the Digital Odometer display and the radio clock display. None of the guages lit up and nothing on the radio or climate controls lit up either. But the outside temperature and compass display overhead lit up and the buttons lit up for that. I was reading and I think all I have to do is reset the BCM or computer. How would i do that? I think I could just disconnect the neg battery cable or a fude or something else. Thanks in advance.

The ABS light coming on is not critical. However, the brake light (if it was accurate) means that you lost have your braking system. I suggest that you keep a close eye on it.

Best Regards,
Stan
