The best drawing methods

How do you guys start off your drawings which methods do you use, the box method maybe? i want to know how you guys draw, start off your drawings and anything i should know.

For my CAR-toon images, mainly box in the rought shapes to get the perspective and viewing angle right.

For my sketches I partially use box method. I should use it more often, I'm making to many mistakes...
