Manual trans to automatic

I'm wanting an automatic 2WD Toy P/U, but I'm having trouble locating one. Is there an easy conversion? Like a automatic Celica trans that just bolts up to a 22r in a P/U? Shifter and all?

Re: Manual trans to automatic

The easiest would be to find a truck at a salvage yard and get the tranny, it's ECM, wiring, cross member, mounts, and drive shaft.

Using an auto from an old 22R equipped Ceilica or Corona could be done, but there would be more fab work involved.
