Hi there,
I recently had a 90K service & timing belt replacement on my 2001 Camry V6 only to discover that now the oil is leaking from a valve cover. Could anyone tell me if the timing belt change has anything to do with removal of valve cover? I'm trying to figure out if the dealer is responsible for the oil leak, specially because I remember that the engine was dry before the service. Thanks |

Re: Valve Cover & Timing Belt
Welcome to the AF!
There is no need to remove the valve cover to replace the timing belt. Try torqueing down the bolts sealing the cover.
