I do belive it's around .300-.400. Don't quote me on that. If you don't want to spend to much money get a 60's or 70's set of 4V heads and have them rebuilt and P&P them.

Thanks, I was thinking of getting an original set of 4V heads but I wasn't sure if it was worth having an original set machined or buying an aftermarket set

Re: 351 Cleveland heads?????

Head work is not cheap, if done right anyway. Alot of times its best to just pick up a set of aftermarket heads rather than have some stockers worked up. But I'm not sure how much aftermarket there is for the clev.

You saw ONE cylinder head for $900. A pair of assembled aftermarket Cleveland heads will be in the $1800-2200 range depending on parts options. CHI out of Australia makes aluminum 351C heads and has the longest option list on them for port, chamber, and valve sizes. They even have recast 4V iron heads.
