Model Motorcycles you would like to see?

I hope once the 2007 MotoGP season is over that Tamiya will produce some of the new 800's to their usual high standard, they look really sharp if a little small?

Would have loved to have seen a 2006 Yamaha M1 in Camel livery as well as Kenny Robert Juniors Suzuki.

For Street Bikes, would like to see a Suzuki GSXR1000 and GSXR750 of any vintage, actually starting to like the look of the latest K7 series, would also like to see a Suzuki TL1000R or TL1000S V twin.

Going back a little, does anyone remember a 1/12 kit of a Honda CBX1000 six? if not I'd like to see one as well as a 1/12 Kawasaki Z1300, Suzuki GS1000 and GSX1100E, used to own some of these old muscle Bikes and would love to see them in kit form, heck I see a 1/12 Honda 250 Super Dream on Ebay, owned one of them too.

Re: Model Motorcycles you would like to see?

Yup, would love to see some regular Superbike race series machines, Tamiya used to be adventurous, but seem to play it safe now and make multiple versions from one kit, not complaining though.

Would love to see the Suzuki 2006 GSF Moto GP bike be done, not so bad results last year, all said and done.

Some of the UK BSB Bikes would make great models with the very colourful and interesting sponsers, IMHO.

Also would like to see some of the WSB classics done, not to mention vintage racing Bikes, would love more of that stuff.

We have what we have though.

Re: Model Motorcycles you would like to see?

what i would like to see also would be aprilia rsv street bike.

i totally agree that it would be nice to see the zx-r & the gsv as i really want to put them in my cupboard rather than always the rc211vs.

also i think i guess it'll be nice to see some sbk, 250 & 125 series in tamiya production line.

Re: Model Motorcycles you would like to see?

I'd like some oddball stuff like a Honda Nighthawk S, Kawasaki ZRX-1200R, Z1000R ELR, Harley V-Rod.

I'm not holding my breath though

Actually I would like to see ANY of the newer gp racers, but in 1/6 scale. That would be incredible.

I know in the US market the HD V-rod would be a sales winner.

Yeah but from what I've read they're nowhere near the detail level of Tamiya. So I don't bother.

Re: Model Motorcycles you would like to see?

Aprilia RSV, Mmmm, yes that would be nice, also would like a Tamiya 1/12 MV Agusta F4 1000, why they never considered this one I do not know?

Almost forgot, a Tamiya Suzuki GSF1200 Bandit S (early style) as that was the last real Motorcycle I owned.

Re: Model Motorcycles you would like to see?

Yes you have a few V-max bikes actually, I think Imai or Aoshima made one early and one late version. A bit rare though but I see them on ebay occasionaly.

Re: Model Motorcycles you would like to see?

I'm probably in the minority here but I'd love a newly tooled Manx Norton in 1/12 scale.

My ultimate Fantasy bike kit though, would be a Vincent Series-C Black Shadow in 1/6th scale from Tamiya........ Although I fear that ANY new 1/6 kit from Tamiya would be a Fantasy..... classic or modern subject.

Isn't Italeri issuing a lot of the old (and new) Protar bikes?
