reverse lights

i just got my first car. its a 1996 eclipse gs. it needs some basic work on the engine but thats not wat im askin about. my reverse lights dont work i think it might need new bulbs but dont know where to change them from. so were do i change them from? lol

Or are you asking how to get to them? In the talon, you have to go in through the hatch... there's little "doors" that open up and you just take them out.

If it's the Eclipse back like in the pic, I believe you go under the rear bumper to get to them. Either that or you use a screw driver to pop them out.

ok thanks, i couldnt check that cause my car is at my dads house since i wont be able to drive it till june. but i gonna go there and check it out this weekend

There are 2 screws (IIRC, might be 1) that hold in each of the reverse lights, you'll see once you look at them. Just take out the screws, pop out the casings, replace the lights, and put them back in. Be careful though, if they're both out then you might have a wiring problem....

yeh they r both out. o well ill just have the mechanic check it when i get the rest of the shit fixed. i cant drive it until june anyway.

it was just a blown fuse
