Z32 brake upgrade w/ stock rims?

Whats up guys? Been a while but I need some help.

My pads are worn and my rotors are old, so I was going to buy some new Hawk pads with some Brembo rotors. Since I was going to spend like 5 bills on just that I decided to look into just getting some Z32 calipers since that would make a bigger difference right away.

Question is: will the Z32 calipers fit with the stock 15" rims? I've been looking around and everyone says "You might have problems with clearance" but no one knows for sure. And in case your wondering, I dont have the money to get some 17 or 18's right now so I have to ask.

Thanks in advance.

if there the 30mm Iron version, you will need some spacers.

Re: Z32 brake upgrade w/ stock rims?

Just some quick measurements:

Red is the wheel, blue is the rotor, green is the caliper.

The clearance needed from the center of the hub to the outside edge of the caliper is about 6 1/2", labeled "A" on the picture.

The clearance needed from the hub of the brake rotor that the wheel sits against to the inside edge of the spoke needs to be about 1 3/4", labeled "B" on the picture.

Re: Z32 brake upgrade w/ stock rims?

Alright guys, got a new question.

I checked and my rims should clear the z32 calipers.

Question is:

If I bought new z32 Brembo blanks w/ some z32 Hawk HPS pads for the front, would the braking be off too much if I bought and left the rear w/ 240 Brembo blanks and 240 Hawk HPS pads? I was also going to buy the PDM conversion lines for the front and some Goodridge for the rear. Then prob. just sell the other 2 lines on ebay or something. Thanks.
