you only need like 5 sq. feet to do a trunk. A dynamat trunk kit is like $50. If you're really low on cash, cardboard works pretty well but if it gets wet it rots quickly

edit: this is enough sound deadener to put two layers on your whole car for $130.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/100-F...QQcmdZViewItem

Re: trunk rattlin

Strips of auto carpet from autozone works good to. Check ouy www.secondskinaudio.com. Decent price and very very nice stuff works better than dynamat. Fatamt is ok but its no where near the quality of dynamat.

Don't ever look at cars as just imports or domestics. Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota.

Re: trunk rattlin

You can get some stuff, I believe it's called lizard skin, but it's a liquid and you can spray or roll it on and it's not as heavy as Dyna mat. I've never used it before, but it makes sense. If you just can't live without that bass, you can always weld your trunk! Haha! Good luck man

Re: trunk rattlin

We where next to them at the last PRI show we went to. Second skin makes a roll on and a spray on aound deadener.
