Let's see. There was no stunt. There was nothing to show 8" of ice. You could see at the edge of the window where the road had been cleared, and it looked like about an inch.

the only place i've ever seen 8" thick ice (as in, a place i've been to) is atop a 12,860ft Swiss glacier. you couldn't do 100km/h (62mph) on any ice and stay in control.
