Channel 192

Channel 192 is an MMO focused on Vehicular combat. It is based on Channel 192, a channel dedicated to vehicles and everything about them, even the destruction of them. The catch to this game, is not a couple awesome cars that don't fit you, or a story that is just to weird to focus on, but instead, you make your car from scratch, choose the weapons you want to use, create your own special, and play against other custom cars. If you don't want to battle, you will be able to race as well, using your car de-modified without weapons. But, if you like having the cars that you choose from, play through there story, we have plans for a mini game to add into the game, that you choose one of 16 cars, each with own story and ending.

We need artists for the levels, weapons, car parts, and cars in the minigame.

And for those wondering, we will be using the Torque engine for now unless something better comes along for this type of game. We chose this engine, for it is a good FPS engine that can host a large team, but you can modify it to small group MMO as well. We don't plan on having 5000 cars on one field, so not much to worry about there.

The pay sadly, like most here, will be profit, unless we get the grant or loan we are hoping for, then everyone on the team will get a small pay. We are in the process of getting a grant, and it is looking fairly good, so keep your fingers crossed.
