1997 Pontiac Grand Prix wiper transmission timing?

I recently had a problem with my 1997 Pontiac GP. The bolt holding the windshield motor to the wiper transmission came loose causing the windshield wipers not to work. The motor and transmission are now out of time for the delay mode but works fine in low and high speed. Does anyone have experience retiming the wiper transmission? If so, help!!!
