64 gto basket case

I'm just stepping into a 64 gto project. The car was used for drag racing with 65 model fiberglass front body parts. The interior was pretty much gutted and the deck lid was replaced with fiberglass. I need to find replacement parts to get it back to original. I need alot of stuff and am starting the great search. I am interested in anybodies knowledge or resources to get it done.

Re: 64 gto basket case

I would look around for a 64 Lemans or tempest and use those parts. If your intention is to restore to new I hope your checkbook is quite large

Re: 64 gto basket case

I saw this vehicle on the net @ www.classiccarmall.net/classified2-1511.htm Hope this helps. Also I live in Orland,(Northern)California, there is a local wrecking yard with lots of pontiac parts. let me know if you are interested.
