need help!!!!!

Hi I have a 1995 S10 and my truck suddenly started to have problems starting. In order for it to turn on I need to put some quick start spray for it to turn on. without the spray it will turn over but will not turn on. I replaced the fuel pump but the problem persist. after i turn it off and try to turn it on i does not turn on until the third try. I am confused ??? Please help

A few suggestions before we get into the nitty gritty. Have you checked fuel pressure with the key on the "on" position? IF yes, is it within specs? If no, trace fuel pressure problem. If yes, what type of plugs do you have? Do you have a 4.3 with non adj dist timing? Have you checked base timing? How does the engine idle? A rough idle could caused from a vacuum leak which may make it hard to start. It could be a number of things, but eliminate the easy stuff first.

Look up CPI and nut kit (lines) that are under the upper intake - they are probably in need of replacement - many posts on them and how to check for leaks.
