Its not the same here in the states though, the NA RWD SR is super rare. If you were going to do the trouble of the swap, why not just do an SR20DET swap. And i highly doubt its a FWD SR swapped in since most of the parts would be in different locations?

i didnt know a RWD NA SR was offered in the states. the FWD SRs dont bolt up to the RWD trans. here in NZ, you can get an NA RWD SR for under $300 so i assumed he found one for cheap.

no, it never was offered in the states, thats why its rare. I have seen one online for sale as a clip, but why bother? Id like to see pics of this N/A SR swap.

Re: sr20de ECU

i bought the car with the swap done already it was a good deal and alot cheaper to buy the car with that swap instead of the sr20det...i wanted something reliable for awhile before i turboed it, but now its killing me not having boost!! so i just needed to know if i could find a ecu that would fit this application.
