Low coolant light, etc....

I posted previously some electrical issues i had with my 2000 Venture. Long story short, they replaced the wiring from fuel pump area all the way to front of the car I believe under the drivers seat. The bad wiring was burning up certain parts like the TPS, fuel pump, & crank sensor. The van has been running fine for a couple of weeks now. Just when I start trusting it again (!!), the low coolant light came on. It never ran hot or anything and the coolant seems ok so i didnt worry too much about it. Well it came on briefly again today and went back off. And shortly after that, it started idling high again just like it did when the TPS went bad (twice). The SES light has not come back on. I guess my question is--can the coolant sensor burn up like the other things? or is that a sign of the lovely intake gaskets?? Right now I cant even pop the hood because there is so much ice on the car!

Re: Low coolant light, etc....

Well I am getting a feeling of deje vu!! THe SES light finally came back on again (as i expected it would soon) and its putting out the P0122 code for the TPS AGAIN!! This will be the third time this has need replacing in less than 3 months. My guess is something electrical is burning it up...but what are the chances that NAPA has a bad batch of the sensors? ANy input in appreciated. If you search my other posts, you can see the full background of this nightmare!

Re: Low coolant light, etc....

Well the TPS was replaced again......Does anyone think I should go to another garage if it goes out again? Maybe I should pay the extra $$ and just go to the dealer..... They just replace it but to me there is a reason why it keeps going bad! My low coolant light still pops on here and there. Twice today, but that is the first time in about a week. I havent noticed and leaks or smelled it burning off. Just had an oil change when TPS replaced. Surely if there was coolant in the oil they would have told me?? Is that pretty noticeable? (I'm paranoid with good reason! The van has been one big nightmare since purchased)
