Looking for a quality dashboard cover
I have a '93 Caprice Classic, and the dash has a few long cracks in it. So far, all I've been able to find in the way of dash covers is the kind that looks like a fitted rug.
I know that some companies make fitted, hard plastic dash covers about 1/16" thick that you install on top of your existing dash with doublesided foam tape, or epoxy. A few years ago, I saw one being installed on a 70's or 80's era pickup truck on a cable TV show. I'd love to find a company that makes them for cars. Can anyone give me any ideas? |

***bump***
Just sending this to the top in case anyone has any new info on dash covers. If any of you have bought one of the dashcovers that look like a fitted rug and are really happy with it, please let me know where you got it. Thanks, John |

Re: Looking for a quality dashboard cover
That looks pretty good, but the dash on the '93 is curvy, so it would be next to impossible to get down a smooth job using your technique.
This CoverKing velour cover looks pretty good, but I'd love to see a closer photograph: http://www2.partstrain.com/partlisti...2+93+Dash+Trim |
