A/C & Heat problem 1987 300ZX

I have a 1987 300ZX (non-turbo), and the heat does not work. The blower motor can be controlled, but non of the vent buttons seem to work, and I'm not sure if the temp control is working. Right now, I get only slightly warm air blowing from the windshield defrost vent. The fuses all seem to be good. I checked the relay cluster under the hood, and there is one missing that is labelled "Vacuum Pump". I'm not sure if there was ever one there, since I bought the car used. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: A/C & Heat problem 1987 300ZX

try and find a relay for the vac pump... it's usually vacuum line issues that make the heat and a/c stuff not work... it's pretty ugly behind there so hopefully the relay fixes it
