Re: wont start
Check all the fuses to make sure you didn't blow one when disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.

Re: wont start
Do you find you problem? I have almost the same thing happening to a 93 5.8L Battery was dead for about 6 months Charged it & now I have no spark. Was running great before it was parked.

Re: wont start
If it has a distributor use a 12volt test light and check for voltage to the coil positive when trying to start. The put the connection on the coil negative it should flash if somebody is trying to start the vehicle. If it flashes take the module to Advance or Auto Zone and get it checked. If it doesn't flash replace the pickup in the distributor.
If it has a camshaft position sensor unplug it and use and ohm meter across the two terminals. It should go from zero to one if its good. Be very careful you don't get caught in the belt. You might have to remove the belt to check or make temp leads. |
