02' SE problems

I have a '02 GA SE. The service engine soon light flashes with a "clicking" noise coming from the fuse block in the engine compartment. Also, when I turn the key to the off position, take out the key, and open the door, the radio, charging system light, and digital odometer stays on draining the battery. The battery was brand new. I also replaced the starter too. I had an engine out of a '99 GA (with 40,000 miles) put into my '02 GA a few weeks ago. The problems I have stated above have started yesterday. Any ideas? Thanks in advanced.

Re: 02' SE problems

Welcome to AF.

Did you or someone else replace the motor?
Oh and what size engine did you have,
and what size was put back in?

With any service light you need to get it scanned for trouble codes with a good quality scanner.Or else you'll jsut be second guessing and wasting time & money.

But with the clicking, I'd say a relay is stuck open,
and keeping the circuits open which is draining your battery.

Good Hunting
