I hate programming.
Fuck fuck fuck i hate it. Im going for engineering, not programming. I'll leave the programming to the programmers who love this shit. I hate it.
Anyone want to force-feed me C++? ITs goddamn irritating and im about to throw my computer at the first computer geek i see. Hard.

What exactly are you having trouble with? I don't know C++, but I know LPC, which is a big derivative of C++.

I feel your pain. I'm taking beginning C programming for Engineers right now and it can be a pain. Most of my work is done by trial-and-error untill it the program works. The worst part of it for me is that the littlest mistake could make things go to shit.
Oh, BTW, can someone explain how to make a user defined function WORK!

programming isnt that bad. you just tell the computer what you want it to do then it does it. the only hard part is remembering the language.

programmers are a strange breed. when i worked at IBM the building that housed the programmers was truly a nut house. they had their own in house shrink. they also had the highest divorce rates, drug and alcohol abuse rates and were the biggest drain on the medical plan

i don't find C++ that bad but i've done programming before so it's not too different. the thought process that goes into it is very similar, the commands are different.
what are you having trouble with? i might be able to help, i just wrote my midterm today though so my brain might hate programming too much right now to help. that mid-term was retarded, we had to write two programs without computers, you're supposed to write the computer program and not have any errors in it without a debugger and without being able to run it.
