Just got an 83

Hey whats goin on everyone. i just bought an 83 caprice today and the weather has been so crappy here i havent had a chance to start any work on it yet. just wanted to introduce myself to everyone and ill be posting alot in here now too and the grand prix forums

Thanks! ok i got a question already, how to you replace the reverse lights on the 83 caprice??? im trying to figure that out right now...

Open the trunk up, you may have to remove or pull back any carpet that might be there. If you look at the inside of the bulkhead directly in front of the taillight assemblies, you will see some plastic thumbnuts - remove these, and the taillight assemblies will pull out. The bulb sockets twist off of the rear of the assembly to reveal the bulb. It's a good idea to go ahead and replace all of the bulbs while you're in there.

Alright cool, i got it now. i dont know how diffucult this could be also but i noticed that the chime inside the car (the one that chimes if you leave the lights on) is REALLY quiet, you can barely hear it. i saw a little blue box under the colum where the sound comes from, i think ill remove it and see if theres anything wrong with the speaker, any ideas what else it could be?
