A little advice please...

I was talking to some other guys in a more local GP forum. Well, several are right in my area so we are going to getting together in the near future so I can check out there cars and see my cars potential first hand. In any case check out this e-mail from one of them. I want to know if any of this is something I want right now. I will only be modding lightly so I want to know if I should get any of this stuff. I also would like some info on the HPtuner thing...

Hey since your so close lemme know if ever want to use HPtuners. It's $100 for 2 credits from HPtuners.com and 2 credits unlock's your GTP on my system. Just an option if you wanted to do that now or after you got some mods, i have a 3" catless DP for sale and a Trasher MPS w/3.25 3.4 pulleys, probably have a press on 3.5 pulley soon too if you was looking for some mods cheap

Just some options for you and your close so i could give them to ya alittle cheaper since i wouldn't have to ship.NoImage = NoSigImagedocument.write(pgdCode("

We call those clubs in my area.

The million dollar question is how much does he want for the stuff? The Thrasher modular pulley system with the 2 pulleys is what I would be looking at providing the price is right. As to the downpipe running without a CAT convertor is illegal in many jurisdictions but it is up to you. Also, if you have an annual emissions test requirement.

Re: A little advice please...

No emissions here in Ohio. Like I said I doubt I do any real modding to this car just the basics so I didnt want to end up with things I would never use. I will be doing a FWI and u-bend and resonator delete within the next couple of weeks. Will anything he has fall under the "simple modding" catagory .

I met them through an Ohio area GP forum online but I guess they could be a club...I am excited to check out a modded GTP....low 13's on street tires is what the guy has and another guy has a GP GT and he says he nudges out stock GTP's.

I know a guy down the street that has a 96 firebird 3.8 w/mods that edges me out top end after running neck and neck. He has a nice put together car...

The reason I am not going to mod to much is because I am pretty sure I will end up with an 04 Comp G in the next year and a half or so. MAybe sooner if the right deal comes up...
