Brake light problems

I need some help with the brake lights on my 1989 pickup. After towing my trailer yesterday i now have no brake lights, and the brake light is on in the instrument panel. The fuse is still good. Is there a relay somewhere for it or did the brake switch go out? Thanks in advance, Terry

Re: Brake light problems

I don't know if the trailer had anything to do with it or not but i have a 95 chevy 1500 and my brake lights went out, no fuses blown or anything. I knew quickly that it was the brake light switch which is located under steering column.
had the same problem with my 89 camry before so i knew right away what the problem was.
