95 buick lesabre rod bearings

I removed oil pan to see if maybe the screen was clogged since the check oil light would come on and stay on,screen is clean so not that,figure now it must be oil pump.but while under found connecting rods a little loose on 5 pistons.crankshaft and main bearings appear to be tight and o.k.my question 5 of the connecting rod bearings are worn loose and make thumping noise can new rod bearings inserts be inserted in the connecting rod end caps.the rest of the engine seems fine otherwise now car has 140,000 miles on it

You must inspect the crank for scores, check the actual bearing clearance with "plastigage", then decide what to do here.
