4WD Indicator

I have a 1998 Grand Cherokee Laredo with the selectrac 4-Wheel Drive. Usually when I am in 2WD the rear two tires on the display for the 4WD are lit. Now they don't work at all. When I put the Jeep in Part-time or Full-time 4WD, only the two front tires light up on the indicator. I don't know if there is a problem with the 4WD or if the lights just blew out or if theres a bad connection, but better safe then sorry. any ideas?
