I have a 93 Integra GSR. The transmission says it's B17A but a mechanic I took it to said he's pretty sure that engine is a 1.8 liter. The problem I have is that someone drained the oil on 3 different Acuras at school and I got going down the interstate and someone decided to race me right after school and I got up around 130 and the tempeture shot up and I killed the engine and coasted off the side of the road. The block was destroyed but I won the race. Anyway, I'm stuck now with a car and an engine I can't find anywhere. I was wondering if anyone knew what blocks could work for this. I guess it's a 1.7 Liter DOHC VTEC. I heard some LS block might bolt up with everything else. If anyone has any info or suggestions please let me know. Thanks!

sucks you ruined such a rare block. if im not mistaken those still put out around 180hp even though they were only 1.7 litre. good luck finding a new motor for that.

Dam that sucks i you should be able to use another 1.8 block but you might have to take your head to a machine shop and get it fabricated for the dowel pins.
