Clock/ Radio/Cd Display burned out help fixing it

I have a 2002 Grand Prix GTP and the display for the clock/radio/ cd player is nt working. When the sun shines directly on it you can faintly see it but other than that you dont see it. Someone, and im sorry i dont know who, told me that there is a lamp that i can replace but id have to remove the radio. Can anyone tell me how to go about doing that? thanks alot.

My heater problem is fixed. It was the resister and the blower motor, Not what the other place told me it was. Thanks for all the help on that too.

We have a Tips & Maintenance subforum which has a general guide to replace the lamp. See link below.
