Hey wiswind... let me be the first one!
I would like to congratulate you on your promotion to a moderator on this forum. I apreciate all you've done thus far to help the Windstar owners comunity develop an understanding and the capacity to deal with not only the normal routine maintenance, but also the diferent major issues that are too complicated for the average home mechanic to undertake on our own.
I know that you with the help of all the other fine contributors will keep this forum as helpful as it will ever be. Congrats Mod...! PS. great pointers on the Please Read Before Posting post at the top, and I ecourage everyone to stop by and review it, as it will help us all to help keep this forum tool at it's best. If you don't mind me pointing out one little detail that could also be adeed and would help a lot would be if when a problem is resolved the thread originator could post the fix for any future reference. That could save someone with the same problem a lot of valuable time and search work. |

Re: Hey wiswind... let me be the first one!
Thanks...it is an honor to be asked.
I just posted a LONG general windstar information thread..... I have been in front of my computer so long....I can hardly see......so I will have to re-proofread tomorrow! I think I have a request to post back the solution to problems in the before posting thread......I will relook at it tomorrow to make sure....and will think over if it is clear enough. Thanks again!

Re: Hey wiswind... let me be the first one!
Congrats Wiswind! You and a few others helped me out last fall (the dreaded EGR port clogging). I just happened back in here to investigate a new problem I was having and saw this post. They couldn't have picked a better man!
Congratulations again!!

Re: Hey wiswind... let me be the first one!
Wiswind,
Congratulation !! You helped me solve two problems when I though I only had one. By replaceing the Brake Pressure Swich (which was leaking Brake Fluid) my number 9 or 10 fuse ? (odometer, speedometer, ABS light, and temp contol) doesn't blow anymore and I got my Crusie Control back as well. You killed tw0 birds with one stone. Thanks and Congrats, AvalonJohn |
