F1 (Road Car) Steering Wheel Variations

We have seen that chassis #064's steering wheel boss is different to most others by having a red F1 V12 logo -

Jay Leno's chassis #015 (amongst others) has the bog standard silver one -

but has anyone noticed chassis #023 has a different logo version altogether -

Chassis #038, #061 and #071 ( Roger_ph) are unique by having a (close to) body-coloured part of their steering wheel -

whereas XP3 and #023 have a different colour on the wheel compared to the body -

I have noticed some differences in the style of wheel too -

Chassis #063 (amongst others) has a Nardi 'flat faced' wheel -

whereas chassis #011, #018, #022 and #073 have a concave version -

and chassis #075 has a flat-bottomed wheel -

Chassis #051 has a bubble-wrap style to its wheel () -

Chassis #58F1GT has an all-body-coloured wheel with suede -

Chassis #003, #053 and #051 (minus bubble-wrap) have a suede-rimmed wheel -

Chassis #040 has a unique wheel to F1's -

LM3 has a suede wheel and different logo -

Anyone notice any other derivatives I can add here?

Re: F1 (Road Car) Steering Wheel Variations

Those are easily the best shots I have seen of the backside of the steering wheel and the mechanisms for the brights and the horn.

Thanks much!

Wow, you must be a contortionist to get those angle shots - I remember lying on my back getting shots of the underside of the steering column for #013 - It took me a while to get back up

Now I'm with Greg - that is impressive. These are exactly the types of shots I was speaking about recently in the Quiz thread. Excellent work Roger - thanks again.

Clearly a racer - my guess would be the #24R of Paul Knapfield.

Speaking of which, I never did save the set of photos LeMan recently shared of that car nor did I say thanks when I saw them.
