Air condition question

hello guys i tried yesterday my AC... by clicking on the AC button. Now I can hear the AC come on but it seems like the air coming out of the docks is not cold air. Now i also know its winter here but, i was with my girlfriend and, just out of curiosity i tried the ac... is this somthing to do with the termostat..??? Or maybe i should wait until July when its real hot and, try it again..?? Is it normal its not sending out colder air when i click on the AC button..???? Thanks in advance

No. They're not related.
If you hear the a/c compressor coming on then it's either something to do with the blend door, or it's a little low on refrigerant. How cold is the outside air there right now? If it's too cold, the a/c compressor will not stay engaged even if it turns on when you first hit the button.

Re: Air condition question

Well, the coldest you a/c will ever blow out the vents is around 35f.
It won't make -10f cool down to -20f, for example. Just try it again in the spring when it's warmer.
BTW, the a/c plus the heat toggether help dry out the windshield in defrost mode. So as long as it is coming on, you're fine until warmer weather.
