Cleaning windows?
Hi guys,
I painted my Gallardo's windows, but now, they are full of fingerprints. How can I clean them? Can I use the Future stuff after I painted my windows with Tamiya TS29? Thanks |

Re: Cleaning windows?
Once the paint is dry, clean them with a soft cloth to remove the finger prints, almost like you would if you were cleaning reading glasses.
You can use Tamiya wax or similar on them too to give them an extra shine.

Re: Cleaning windows?
Thanks, I will try this.
What is the best way to not leave big fingerprint on the windows when you install them? Do you wear gloves? |

Re: Cleaning windows?
Well you clearly don't have a future in crime
![]() I wear cotton jewelers gloves to help keep clear parts and clear coated bodies free of incriminating evidence

Re: Cleaning windows?
I use cheap latex gloves. But i try not to touch my windows as long as possible. It's the only sprue i leave in the plastic bag until i need it. If I have some fingerprints (or small scratches or gleu) i remove it using polishing compound and tamiya wax.
