Wet Carpet HELp

So i have a 94 cav 2 door. the drivers side carpet keeps getting wet. I have checked the underside for any holes that might allow water in and found none. is there any obvious spots i should check?

Re: Wet Carpet HELp

I had the same problem with my z22 cavy 1994.... apparently the problem was somewhere in the firewall... was to expensive to fix so I sold it and, got a newer version z24 2002... to really find the problem I think you will need to undo your dash and, front windshield to really find the hole... unless you had a smash recently, this can be bad rust underneath rusting away.. also check your wire harness in your engine compartment and, see if you got any rust around there..

good luck man..

Re: Wet Carpet HELp

In case anyone has this same problem. I Finally found it. I had to remove the cowel panel and under there was some factory caulking that had basicly rotted away and was allowing water the ran off the windsheild to drip down onto the floor. So i bought some cualk and smeared it all over that and it solved the problem.
