Front End
Is it possible to Takethe entire front Grillw and Headlight Assembly off of a 1990 and replace it with that of a 1991+, to enable the use of Headlight Covers?

Is there a difference between the headlights of a 90 and a 91+ that the covers wont fit the 90? Is it a wagoneer or something? They should be interchangable. |

Re: Front End
Its not that there is a difference in headlights, the headight covers are only made for a 91+. No, my jeep isn't a wagoneer its a two door jeep.

Re: Front End
Thanks to a deer, I shattered the fiberglass header panel and headlight covers on my "95 cherokee. I pulled these pieces off of a "87 and reassembled my front end. Very minor differences. Nothing a little imagination, hacksaw and a drill couldn' t accomplish.

Re: Front End
The only differences are the way the header panel bolts on. On the 87 I had to unbolt the fender flares and reach inside to remove 1 nut ( 10mm nut ) that holds the header panel at the top of the fender. The other bolt is on the lower front. On the 95 you have 2 bolts on the front ( top and bottom of the outside edge ) , making it a lot easier to remove. Also on the 87 header, where the headlight covers screw in, below the side side marker, the 95 has an extended mount on the cover. On the 87 cover, it is not there as the extention is on the header panel. A hacksaw removed the extention on the side cover. Just some little differences, but it all bolted up just fine. The 87 header panel even had the top bolt notch just like the 95. So you don't have to unbolt your flares to bolt it up. I used the 87 header panel and the 95 headlight covers and the 95 grill ( no mods ),
