random crank but no start prob 89 legend

Ok,m this started about a week ago as a minor annoyance... the car usually starts fine...OCCASIONALLY it will crank and crank and crank but just wont catch and start. when it first started happening, if I let the car sit for 5 minutes it would usually start up (with starting fluid assist sometimes)... today i sat there for hours and it refused to start... just cranking away....

i have spark
I have fuel getting to the fuel rails
just no umph to start...

i seen other probs on here with starting but when those 9dealing with the main relay) happen is seems like the car wont even crank so those fixes dont apply to my situation

Help?
