my air conditioning does'nt work!!

this summer i was driving down to detroit and wanted to use the air conditioning because it was so hot. when i turned it on air came out but it was'nt really cold, so i got the fluid or coolant or whatever refilled so the air would be cold; but the next time i used the air all the coolant came out in a big puff of smoke! so now i have no idea what to do because that all just leaked out.......help? PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!!! <3

Welcome to AF.

Your AC probley needs serviced by someone licensed to work on it. Sounds like something has broken and leaked out the refrigrant.

But I doubt you will be needing it any time soon.

infinity is correct, plus, in the future, it's good to have some more information before just charging it. Knowing the high and low side pressures would be helpful. It is possible to overcharge the system, and an overcharged system also will not operate efficiently and could "blow out" as yours seemed to.
