type 2 engine

can someone tell me more about the type 2 engine and what exactly it is?

Type II is the new improved engine available with a 6 speed manual tranny.
It was available in the following model Legends:
93-95 coupes (all)
94-95 GS sedans
MY hybrid 1991 coupe
It has 230hp vs the type i's 200hp

this was a lot of hp back in its day...and it can still beat some azz and hold its own vs higher hp vehicles
