serpentine belt

how to replace the belt? how does the tensioner work? on a 1998 chevy 1500, 5.0

take a 3/8 inch drive ratchet and put it in the hole on the tensioner and release the tension and look at the picture as to how the belt goes. if there isnt a pic pay attention how the belt was before and mathc it up. it should be almost difficult to put the belt on on the last pulley
