350K...might be toasted

I got a 2.3 quad in my 95. 350,000k on it. K, so here's the symptons....got real cold her for past week -20C. Car would turn over, just about catch and make a funny sound...like someone saying DUH. Tried quickstart, alcohol (brother's idea) and got it running once. Drove it for an hour. Next morning...same thing. No start. So I change oil, take first plug out it's covered in oil. It's never overheated, runs great. Idle's good...but does have the smell of coolant sometimes. Oh, I did lose the gas cap and drove around without one for 2 days, so thought it may have been moisture in fuel system. Used injector cleaners and gas line antifreeze. I just assumed that if the head gaskets gone, it'd loose coolant quickly and over heat. Any ideas?
other spark plugs were alright....I know i should junk er, but i'm due for a baby in 2 months and really can't afford another car at this moment....anyone know where to get a head gasket for this engine either?

350,000 k`s on it wow lucky girl someone doing free labour on it otherwise junk it . everything else has 350 on it also . It could quickly become a money pit . Spend a couple of dollars here and there then the trany drops or the bottom end of the engine goes . just to risky . get a compression check done to see where it stands. there is stuff on the market you can get for engine coolant leaks ,just can`t remember name ,not bars leak for radiator leak. just my opinion. Check this out http://www.gouniversalproducts.com/index.html and this

Good Luck with the new Baby

350k damn thats good. dude you probably just got worn rings. or bad valve seals. You could get non-foulers for the plugs. other than that, just do a tune up and you should be set.
